Dr. Oleg Klipitch was born in Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine. He graduated from the Ivano-Frankivsk State Medical Institute in 1984, and was awarded the Diploma with High Honor. Starting in 1985 he worked for the Urology Department in Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Clinical Hospital, Ukraine.

In 2004 Dr. Klipitch was accepted to the Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine at McMaster University. Dr. Oleg Klipitch graduated in 2007, and completed his Family Medicine residency at Stone Church Family Health Centre in Hamilton in 2009.
